Happy New Year. Wow, it is hard to believe that another year has passed. God has been good to us this last year, He has blessed in spite of all my failures (which are many).
I had the chance over the last few weeks to sit and reflect on all the things that happened in 2005. We have seen people from all over the Country pull together, put aside all prejudices and help those who were affected by the Hurricanes that devastated the Gulf Coast.
We have seen God’s people take a stand against same-sex marriages. I was encouraged to see that many still feel that God’s plan for the family is the correct one. God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. That is what I feel the Lord wants me to share with you.
I believe that God ordained three institutions here on Earth:
1. The Family,
2. The Church,
3. Government.
As we have seen over the last few years, Satan has used the liberal political and judicial system to pervert the Church and the Family unit.
We have seen in 2005 that many states would rather appease the people than obey God. When liberal politicians and Judges make and pass laws that say people of the same sex can marry, that is in direct defiance of God’s Law.
Lev 20:13, If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them.
It seems that little by little Satan is using the institutions established by God to ultimately divide and tear down the family unit. Now we see that some states have made it legal for kids to have an abortion without parental notice. This to me is the ultimate slap in the face that the Government feels that it has the right to dictate to parents what is in the best interest for their children. Satan is using these liberal politicians and judges to pervert this generation and to destroy the freedoms that many men and women have fought and died for.
If we continue to allow these men and women to separate God’s family unit this Country will ultimately self-destruct from the inside out. It is time for the B.M.A. of Texas and B.M.A. of America to join voices and votes to let these liberals know that we are still One Nation under God and if you continue this attempt to destroy the Church and the Family unit, we will see to it that in the next election there will be a new face looking out the window of your office. We need not fear these people because we are the Children of God. He said I will never leave you nor forsake you.
This year it is my prayer that we as God’s Children will stand up with the Moral Action Committee and let everyone know that God is the final authority and it does matter what He has to say.
I want my two boys to grow up in a Country where you can pray in public and know that the government will not interfere with parental rights and responsibilities.
I want to say in closing that I count it an honor to be elected by the B.M.A. of Texas to serve on the Moral Action Committee and I will do my best to keep you informed of the changes that face America.
