American Women Detained For Distributing Bibles (M A R A N A T H A N E W S W A T C H)
A 72-year-old Baptist grandmother from Myrtle Beach, S.C., has been detained for distributing Bibles in the United Arab Emirates. Vivian Gilmer was on a mission trip with the Tom Cox Evangelistic Association in the Middle East country when she was charged with illegal activity by government authorities.
Let's Enforce Our Laws (Phyllis Schlafly-Eagle Forum) The most dangerous area where our laws are not being faithfully executed are the laws designed to protect Americans against the millions of aliens who enter our country illegally every year. The U.S. Constitution provides that the federal government "shall protect each of [the states] against invasion," but little is being done to stop this invasion, and the President's new budget would provide funds for only 210 additional border patrol agents instead of the 2,000 authorized. Since 1986, federal law has made it a crime for employers to hire illegal aliens, and President Ronald Reagan called the sanctions for violations the "keystone" of the law. But no administration has shown any willingness to enforce that law, even though a recent study by the Wall Street firm of Bear Stearns (as reported in Barron's) estimates that the taxes lost from the underground economy could wipe out our entire federal budget deficit.
Our government has admitted that it isn't deporting 400,000 illegal aliens (80,000 of whom have criminal records) because it can't find them. If our government can track and locate one case of mad cow disease (out of millions of cows), why can't Homeland Security faithfully execute our laws and deport these criminals?
Supreme Court Will Hear Case On Oregon Euthanasia Law (Family Research Council)
The Drug Enforcement Administration, a branch of the U.S. Department of Justice, notified the State of Oregon that using lethal doses of controlled drugs to kill patients is a violation of the Federal Controlled Substances Act. However, Attorney General Janet Reno, prohibited DEA from enforcing the law, thus giving a green light to Oregon euthanasia doctors.When John Ashcroft became Attorney General he reversed Reno because her order was in direct conflict with federal law. A federal court challenge resulted. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court sided with the Oregon law and the case was appealed to the Supreme Court.

Survey shows ousted chief justice with 8-point lead over Riley in hypothetical 2006 gubernatorial primary race MONTGOMERY, AL.---A Mobile Register-University of South Alabama poll of likely Republican primary voters shows Roy Moore with an 8-percentage-point lead over Gov. Bob Riley in a hypothetical 2006 primary match up. Moore drew support from 43 percent of respondents in the poll, while the governor garnered 35 percent.
The former chief justice also received a favorability rating of 72 percent -- a number that University of Alabama political scientist William Stewart described as potentially "intimidating to the governor.

Medical Marijuana ID Cards Coming To California (The Press Democrat)
The state will begin issuing identification cards to medical marijuana users in Sonoma, Mendocino and Marin counties this summer, part of a pilot program in 10 counties designed to protect certified users from arrest and pot seizures. The voluntary ID card program, developed by the state Department of Health Services, will be expanded statewide by year's end,. Federal law treats all marijuana as illegal.

DNC Chair Dean Calls Conservatives 'Evil' (Citizen-Link) Howard Dean, the new chairman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), told a weekend rally in Lawrence, Kan., that the nation is engaged in a struggle between good and evil -- and the evil comes from conservatives, LJWorld.com reported.
The former Vermont governor told the crowd of cheering Democrats to be proud of who they were Dean later attended a fund-raiser at a private home, where he addressed the $100 a plate crowd. "The issue is not abortion," Dean told the crowd. "The issue is whether women can make up their own minds instead of some right-wing pastor, some right-wing politician telling them what to do."
But he didn't stop there.
Dean went on to discuss gay marriage -- an issue he says Republicans are using as a diversion to take the country's attention from the real problems such as jobs and the growing national deficit. "They don't think tolerance is a virtue. I'm not going to have these right-wingers throw away our right to be tolerant." In conclusion, Dean likened the conservative voice versus the liberal mind to a battle. "This is a struggle of good and evil," he said. "And we're the good."
British Royal Navy Recruits Homosexuals (Keith Peters, Citizen-Link) The military branch is partnering with a pro-gay group to increase homosexual participation. The British Royal Navy has announced that not only will it accept gays into its ranks, it will actively recruit them. The Royal Navy is cooperating with a gay activist group to devise better strategies for recruiting homosexuals, in the wake of a European court ruling that found Britain's ban on homosexuals in the military violated human rights laws.

There are over 600,000 Jews in France alone; possibly over 2 million in Europe and anti-Semitism is spreading throughout all of Europe like a wild fire. As the Arab population grows and the nazi skinheads increase life for the Jew gets more dangerous by the day. In London a new Mosque was built that holds over 10,000, new mosques are springing up everywhere in Europe.
While it almost impossible to find a Church, if you do in many cases it has been converted into a Mosque. Today it is still possible for Jews to immigrate from most European countries, but that door could close any day; stopping Jews from entering Israel. The reason? “demographics” the Arab world that controls the UN will simply say enough Jews in “Palestine” that the balance of Jews to Arabs must not be made lopsided in the Jews favor. The UN will pass a resolution with no problem; like the others they have brought up against Israel and the Jews.
